Scaling an AI startup

The problem:

Exponential Machines landed tier 1 clients early in their development. To scale, they had to rapidly build a presence in the US and India. As acting VPE, Kyle helped this AI company scale to a successful exit.

Kyle’s approach:

  • Put foundational processes in place and hired a crack team within 4 months.
  • Delivered AI solutions to 4 Fortune 100 companies across cognitive extraction, likely to reject claims predictions, retail display compliance and more.
  • Responsible for Engineering, Product, Customer Success, DevOps and Security.

Outcome:

Company consolidated and sold to new owners and is still growing.

I worked with Kyle at Exponential AI. As a VP of engineering he managed our India
